I haven’t been on this forum in a while. WOW!! it has changed.

well anyways I always have appreciated everyone’s help on this forum.

but my daughter has a nintendo DSI now & it will only play aac music files from the SD card. so how do I convert my mp3 files to aac simplest way?? can I use nero or imgburn??

Thanks

:o

I don’t use Nero so I can’t say if it converts and Imgburn isn’t a conversion tool… You can use any number of free tools like Format Factory: http://www.formatoz.com/

I’d recommend tunebite, it converts all the formats you need. I use it and I find a good soft and very useful for its features

I use the same one Whappo does.

WinAmp converts to AAC also. It can do batches and I believe preserves tags.

I know foobar2k transcodes from mp3->AAC/mp4/m4a, and does preserve tags as well…
While WinAmp does work, I’m not sure it preserves the tags…I’m gonna try a few…

Edit; Yep, it does!

You should be able to do it using iTunes . . .

SUPER will also do batch (multiple) conversions.
I would also check to see if certain bitrates, etc… should be adhered to or not (adjustable in SUPER).
I am not familiar with the Nintendo unit.
