PS2 emulator wont come out that soon.
my reasons to believe that is what it read someplace...
No there isn't. They are two completely different mesures. Keep in mind though that MHZ and GHZ are bullshit Im serious, clock speeds in no way determine the processing prowess of a computer system.
The reason most people believe MHZ & GHZ, HZ in general are a measure of a systems power is because of Intel's great marketing scheme (read scam!). They didn't have enough R&D intellegence to actually improve the processor so all they've been doing for the past 10 years is uping the clock speed and adding more transistors. But they never bothered to think of a better way to IMPROVE the chips.
For lack of time, i'll give you an example that should hopefully frame this into perspective. The PS2 has a 294.912 MHZ processor and can output: 6.2 GFLOPS (remember more GFLOPS is better) while an intell P4 running at 3ghz only outputs 3.1GFLOPS... a full two fold performance increase with less than 1/10 of the speed of the P4 3ghz.
