Best DVD writer to back up DVD's

Hi everyone,

This is my first post so please go easy.
I hope I have posted this in the right place for a start.

I have started to collect many DVD boxset’s and each boxset costs around £50 to £80.
I would really feel allot safer if my boxsets were backed up and was wondering the best dvd writer and software combo to do this with.

I have been told some are better for backing up than others IE DVD writers with safegaurds (IE safedisk) to prevent you copying films etc.

I am not interested in backing up games, only the DVDs I own

Any help appreciated

If you are looking for a DVD Writer look here and here.

With AnyDVD you can beat the copy protection of protected DVDs.

Then you can copy the DVDs with CloneDVD or DVD Decrypter (free).

Hi Mickey,

That’s NEC2500A + CloneDVD2 & AnyDVD.

NEC2500A + dvd2one, CopytoDVD, & AnyDVD.

LiteOn 812S or 832S & DVD Shrink is my pick.
