Can someone tell me the best dvd-rom for ripping? Speed, quality, that sorta stuff thanks.
I’d recommend the AOPEN 1648/AAP: it is extremely fast, has a very good error correction and a good built-quality. Additionally it’s compatible with “Nero DriveSpeed†which allows you to regulate the speed of the drive, so it’s either very fast or very quiet (for DVD-playback)…For more information, please look into this thread: http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=107490
Or, (like you already should do before posting a new thread): please use the search function of this forum
Totally agree with Pianoman :iagree:
Agree with the drive choice or the search comment?
Ah, sorry. I was referring to the drive choice, Nero CDSpeed and so on. (I am just making an ISO image from a DVD+RW at 16x... )
I thought that it was obvious looking at the thread topic, but evidently it was not...
If you read this and other forums, the consensus for reasonably priced burners ($60+/-) NEC and BenQ. Aopen is the probably the cheapest but for a couple bux more you can do better. See the reviews below.
But wait I think he was asking about a "DVD-Rom for ripping". Also I agree about the Search. :iagree:
