So, I have a liteon 165h6s.
I just bought a 50 pack of TDK+r dl media, and the damn things don’t work in my liteon.
I’ll be damed if I’ll just toss them out…
so is there a drive that will burn them…??
Likely be cheaper to get a new drive anyway…

Hi Rickkins,
Pioneer DVR-115/215, Optiarc 720x or LG GSA-H55N are a very good DL burners, they should handle (especially the Pioneer drives) even lower quality media as TDK.
What is the MID code of your TDKs?

I would choose a H55L drive.

165h6s is about 2 years old model and its firmware does not have a writing strategies for new DL media.

Went to the local to pick up a new burner…all they had was an lg, gh22np20.(a little bait & switch…??)
Picked it up and it seems to work…
