A solution I’ve used is IfoEdit’s “Get VTS sectors” on your ripped DVD files after something’s been changed. IfoEdit updates .ifo files and will also create new .bup files.
In addition, when I need to remove certain extras just to make the main movie fit I often create a blank .vob for an extra I don’t need (e.g. what I do is create an bitmap image and rename it whatever is needed such as VTS_05_1.VOB.) The size is will be 0 and it’s blank. Then run IFOEdit’s “Get VTS Sectors” on the .ifo files. I’ve never had a problem on any standalone with this method. While playing the movie when you click on that removed extra nothing happens and you remain in the extras menu.
Yes, that is exactly the method I was looking for, to update ifo files. I’ll keep it in mind. This time I had the luck that I had all the ifo files, but you never know when I’ll need this…
Could be compatibility problems with your ASPI layer.
Try this version which I know works well.
Just save the file into the same folder as IsoPuzzle.
Well, I tried it but it doesn’t make a difference.
I don’t, personally, think it could be the ASPI layer. I’ve a new pc, and than you’d probably have problems with other rippers like dvd decrypter.
I don’t want to sound over-negative but I think this might be a dead end…
What about the things I named in #14:
For example, is it normal, that process always starts with dialogue box, saying that the last sector can’t be read, and that the process always starts with the forming of a red bar while the copying process stays on 0.0% and is it normal that thousands of errors are produces in the process.
Thanks in advance, but if it doesn’t work, so be it.
