Haven’t burned any thing for a few years. Looking to catch up, over 400 DVDs i need to backup.

I have a 50" HD Plasma and would like to keep quality the same. What program would be the easiest and quickest for this? i’m looking at DVD Fab Plat and Clone/Any DVD. Any suggestions?

Also since i want to keep 1:1 copy with no compression should i split discs or burn to DL? what are the pros cons of these? TIA

400 dvd’s split is 800 or more.
a spool of 100 verbatim dvd+ can be bought on sale for in the 20’s if you look around.
DL runs at least 1.00 or more per disk…
that said, I prefer DL and Fab platinum.
But, at backing up 400 movies,
you will need 800 disk so it’s really your call…

thanks. my eyes may be bigger than my stomach though. I have about 400 DVDs total, i probably won’t be backing up ALL of them, but a good portion.

If I go the DL route i won’t need to split though would I? Also is Fab any better than Clone/Any Dvd? I’ve used the clone/any combo back in the day and liked it so was thinking about going that route unless there is some reason i should look else where.

anydvd or Fab will do the trick.

no,
you Won’t need to split with DL as your original source
is DL also and your not adding to it…
all your movies will fit on a dl with zero compression…
