[QUOTE=Gyxx;2515451]Hello, soory for the VERY noob blue ray question.
I youst want to remove some foreign audio streams form a blue ray disk in order to make a full resolution backup copy of it (now it’s just 26 gig and has spanish, i do have both dvdfab 7 (trial copy) and anydvd (stil truial) freshly installed, but i didn’t find any option to
- shrink the whole dsk to BLR 25 or
- remove the extra audo streams
it is only possible to savejust the main film without menù from dvdfab, is there any other software at the moment that makes me able to work on blue ray disks like i was used to with DVD backups ?
Thank you vey much and sorry again if ti is a stupid question
Rip the entire Blu ray movie to the hard drive using AnyDVDHD. Then open the blu ray movie on the hard drive with BD-Rebuilder and select Full Backup. You’ll see a list of video and audio streams included…where you can remove the foreign language audio and subtitle tracks. Since you want a 25gb result, you can select that size as output. BD-Rebuilder also has a Movie Only backup mode if you prefer, and you can select the preferred audio and subtitle streams included with it as well.
The process will take quite a lot of time, depending on the speed of your computer. A two pass encode will take the longest amount of time, but gives the highest quality result. A one pass ABR encode will be faster, and still give good quality.
It is best to work from two different hard drives…not just partitions on one. Use one hard drive as the source and the second as the target. This will speed things up a bit.
