People have had very good results with Optodisc BD-R sold under the Plexdisc brand, but other older brands weren’t so good. You can browse their results in the disc test forum.

Plexdisc & Optical Quantum are both Vinpower brands.

Bought a few spindles of Verbatim DataLife Plus from Nierle.
According to ImgBurn their mid is VERBAT-IMe-000

Does anyone know the MID for the verbatim 43837?

Those are the 25 packs of CMCMAGBA5 labled Verbatim 6x discs, #43838 is the 50 pack.

Probably CMCMAGBA5.

They (almost) certainly won’t be Verbatim’s own MID - Datalife (not Datalife Plus) and no MABL logo.

Just a minor update - this summer I bought Intenso BD-R 4x 5-pack spindle and it turns out to be RITEKBR2. Manufactured in May 2017.

That is bad news. My Intenso 4x, bought 2013 or 2014, was CMC MAG BA3
