I am new to working with BD and have a LG GBW-H20L. I can view BD using it's proprietary software PowerDVD, but it wont open files that I have copied as Image files ( extentions .RIF, .RDF, .C00, .C01 etc ) on my hard drive. I am not able to copy the movie to the hard drive any other way. No matter what program I try to read the files, I get a message that Windows cannot read or open the file. When redirected to the web, I see sites for driver evaluation programs. Is this the problem or just a gimmic. ?? I need to know If the BD movie can be copied to the hard drive with it's original files, and if the movie can be reduced in size like I have done with regular DVD's. I am using AnyDVDHD, and Power2go to copy to BD-RE, which works fine, and plays fine on both computer using PowerDVD, and on my stand alone Panasonic BD player. If anyone knows what I should try next please let me know.
