BB Fuji 50 pk's +\- dvd-r $14.99, starts 01/01/06

instant rebate puts them at 14.99 for 50 pc’s in my area … I noticed several weeks ago that some areas will have them for less … check your local advert.

I still find TY MIJ’s in this size, so it might be worth the trip.

damn, my bb is full of sony MIJ. all the fuji’s are MIT.

well it seems that the pattern is that the Sony’s will go on sale in 1 or 2 weeks if BB runs true to form so don’t get too upset

i have about 10 discs left NOW though!!!

there wasn’t really anything good last week (besides verbs but i like TY) I even bought a pack of verbs to hold me over, but I was counting on sonys this week haha.

next time I se ethe sonys I’m stocking up!

I’ll have to check a couple different best buys this week for the fujis.

same here in southern ill, plenty of 50s but there all mit!!argh, hav’nt seen any mij for awhile & getting desperate!! as you all know every junky needs a fix every now & then!! down to my last 100 mij from a year ago!!it sure is crazy that as prices have fallen i cant seem to find what i’m after, but i’ll keep looking!!

my staples used to have a lot of MIJ fujis. you should check other stores around you and pricematch. (unfortunately I’ve cleaned out my staples and all of their new stock is MIT)

I was just at BB today and saw the same thing, all the Fuji’s were MIT. However these are 16X not the 8X that I had been getting. Anybody know anything about these 16X. The reason I ask is that the Verbatim 16X MCC004 are also MIT so it is possible that these are not TY but instead MCC.

Fuji 16x DVD-R is most likely ProdiscF02 and the +R are probably Riteks.

The 16x Fuji DVD-R I have is RITEKF1.

this sale is on the 16x, not the 8x? weird.

I bought them even though mine were made in taiwan. here is a readout.

I was in my local BB Friday afternoon. Every Fuji, as far as I could tell, was MIT. So were about half the Sony +R 50packs, and all 4 Sony 100packs. :frowning:

Are these Fujifilm 50 pack DVD-Rs any good?

Local Best Buy close to me they only have Fuji DVD+R and made in Taiwan.

  • Anyone?

Depends if you can find MIJ then they are good if MIT then buy one of each and experience it yourself.

Merlin, if they are the ProdiscF02s (16x DVD-R Fuji MIT), then I would not feel confident with burning them. the 8x Fujis (prodiscF01) are variable in quality, and certainly nothing close to the quality of the original Fuji 8x MIJ dVD-R (tyg02). I wouldn’t touch them with a 10 ft pole, but that’s me.

I checked out my local BB and found that 2/6 spindles of Fuji DVD+R 50 packs were MIJ. I picked one up, and wish I’d gotten them both! Oh well, back again tomorrow, I guess.

They suck. They are prodisc R05’s.
