I still have the iextreme 1.4 firmware and havent upgraded because i havent found the need to. But just recently i backup up HAWX and tried to play it on my xbox but it didnt work. I done some research on the internet and found a handy tool called ppf-o-matic which i used to downcovert the game into a wave2 game which worked fine. When i tried to play it, it comes up with" an update must be applied to your console to play....." when i click yes it says" cant install the update, disc is unreadable".
Doing some more research on the net, i found one post which says that the xbox actually saves the logs of unstealth backups and uploads them as soon as you connect to xbox live. I dont want to get HAWX working anymore....im just really worried about getting banned as soon as i go online. I just received my wireless adapter and im reluctant to put it in. Can anyone please provide more info on the above? If the logs are really kept on the console, is there a way to format or delete the logs before going online??
