I tried Bangkok Dangerous and would not work. Sent ifo’s did not know if you recieved them. can send again

#2

I’m sure fengtao and Ting received them. this movie has not been released in Canada yet so unable to try it

#3

Also movie won’t be released in the US until 1/6 so don’t know if it will be a problem with the latest version or not, also would need more information other than would not work, as that is hard to troubleshoot

#4

Did you have the same problem that i did, kept getting read error.I have tried 3 different disks with the same results all region 1 widescreen.

#5

Using latest version of DVDFab HD Decrypter v5.2.2.2 fails on Bangkok Dangerous. Have tried different discs and same problem. Getting read errors.

#6

To all those who have this movie already and are getting errors can you please send the IFO files to fengtao. To do that you go into common settings info and click send IFO files.

#7

Sent files last week when i tried the disk.:iagree:

#8

I am in US and have also tried to do Bangkok Dangerous. If I try full disc, the program just stops (closes). If I try to do just movie, it gets read errors. How do I send IFO files if no error report is coming up?

#9

fengtao says Bangkok Dangerous is easy.

please wait. :frowning:

#10

Tried several ways myself tonight and could not get it to backup.
Full disc,Main movie
Pathplayer enabled and not enabled
Got read errors or stopped at 98.67 %
Same problem with Disaster Movie Unrated
R1 version on both.
Got it done using other tools\

#11

Well on Tuesday when this movie is released more people can post and help with it. Until then everyone needs to wait
Well on Tuesday when this movie is released more people can post and help with it. Until then everyone needs to wait
Going by what’s already been said it seems that this movie requires an update to DVDFab for which Fengtao has already prepared.

So I’d doubt that anything can be done until the update is released.

I got a call last night that my copy of Bangkok Dangerous is in so I will be picking it up later this morning and giving it a try . R1 / R4.

#15

I finally got error message to come up so sent IFO files. Will wait and see what he comes up with.

I finally got a chance to try to copy Bangkok Dangerous R1 / R4
V 5.1.2.2. will copy this movie without a problem .
It did take longer to save to my hard drive—13:48 but it did work.
I have burned the move to a disc using imgburn and fast forwarded through it and all seems to be good.
What is strange is the lack of protection found on the movie with so many having problems…and 5222 not being able to handle it.

CSS (Content Scramble System) protection is not found.
RC (Region Code) protection is removed!
RCE (Region Code Enhancement) protection is not found.
APS (Analog Protection System) protection is not found.
UOPs (User Operation Prohobitions) protection is removed!

Invalid PTTs protection is not found.
Invalid PGCIs protection is not found.
Invalid PGCs protection is not found.
Invalid TMAPs protection is not found.
Invalid CELLs protection is not found.
Invalid VOBUs protection is not found.
Fake vts protection is not found!
Bad sector protection is not found!
Structure protection (ARccOS, RipGuard, etc.) is not found.

PathPlayer is enabled!
Unplayable cell is not found.

Ok just for S&G I tried a competitors software on this movie.
It took 14:19 to save to my hard drive and stated This DVD requires error correction.
Also burned with imgburn and checked with Nero for readability. No problems

It may be that there are different versions of this movie as we have seen before or there are some bad press out there.

Like I said there may be different versions with different protection but 5.1.2.2 worked perfect for me and we watched the movie last night.
There are no problems with the copy.

Going to be interesting as to the results of others using V 5.1.2.2 on this movie.
