Why would you not have the current model? The SOHW-832S would be a
better replacement for the original drive, not an older model. This is
highly suspect and contrary to good customer service practices.
As a member of more than a dozen major online technology bulletin
boards, including Anandtech, I will be sure to alert readers as to your
warranty replacement practices, as well as your false claims that the two
drives have identical specs, and recommend other brands over Lite-On.

I was forwarded your email by one of our agents and upon reading it I realize that our agent was
misinformed. You are correct that both models are not comparable. I will set up a UPS pickup to
pickup the incorrect drive and ship you the correct model. It is NOT our policy to replace defective
units with older models. You should of receive the exact same model or better if original was not
