Bad CD-R's on the very bottom of the spindle

I’ve always had this problem discs on the very bottom of the spindle, never work right! I burned one and it’s skipping like crazy and there isn’t a scratch on it!

Sorry for posting to my own thread here, feel free to add this to the original! but here’s a scan from a disc that was on the very bottom of a spindle!

Yep C2 errors are not a good sign. You tried burning @ 16x? Or you going at max speed usually?

I usually burn at 8 X for everything!

The top and bottom disk on a 50 or 100 pack spindle often have problems. You just have to live with that. Always make sure to scan those.

That may be too slow, try 16x or a little faster.

Please post a ScanDisc/Read test of that CD. I find ScanDisc tests to be useful when dealing with CDs in questionable condition.
