I would like to create ISO files or any format of that matter to backup my psx games but my cdr fails to even recognize them at all. If the drive is selected it ejects the cd and says "Inject a disc" "Please insert a disc into E:."
I'm not sure if its a firmware problem or a driver problem but the only solutions that i've determined are to find the iso's online, buy an external cdr that can read them, use a friends pc that can read them and rip the iso's that way
the drive is an Optiarc DVD RW AD-7563A ATA Device and it reads other types of cd's w/o a problem including ps2 cd's
my pc specs are:
Gateway P-6860FX using Windows Vista Home Premium
Intel Core Duo CPU T5550 @ 1.83GHz
4gigs of ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8800M GTS with 2gigs of ram
tried using Force ASPI 1.8, but it says "Sorry, only Intel x86 and compatible platforms are supported..."
Any help or suggestions is appreciated, thank you
