Ok, first off, I am very new to these programs and why certain things are checked or left unchecked to achieve the needed results for the different protections, but I have read the securom 5 posts and have come to the conclusion that my drive may not be able to back it up without emulation.
I am using the Asus crw-5224A with the fw 1.37 . I made a copy with alcohol120 that used the rmps. That works fine with the emulation, but I want to make a copy that I can use on my other machine that I desperatly want to keep free of these emulators or copy programs. I have tried to use BW188.8.131.52 to make my copy and have failed. I have tried to make an image with alcohol, then patch with twinpeak, and burn that patched image...fail again. Is it possible that my drive may be having a problem with these programs? I had read another post talking about this particular drive having issues with BW5 and the topography, but I am not sure what that meant or if it has been resolved already.
Sorry to sound so newbish, but that is what I am
Hope that you can maybe dumb it down for me or point me in a direction with some guidence. I have looked all over the forums, this and others. I probably just have missed what I needed to see. Thanks in advance
