Backing up Games without a NO-CD patch?

Hi, I usually backup my games, but most of them always need a no-cd patch to play. I use CloneCD 4.2.02. I have a Lite-On 52x24x52 burner. I read the CD through the burner with CloneCD’s “Game CD” profile, but I change the read speed to 4x. I then burn at max speed (I also tried burning at 4x). The backups install fine, but when I try to run the game, it would ask me to insert a cd. So I would always use no-cd patches. Is there a way to make backups that don’t need no-cd patches?

Have any of you tried 321 Studios’ new software "Games X Copy " Does really make a true, complete backup that won’t need a no-cd patch or emulation?

OK, first of all you’re not allowed to talk about cracks/no-cd patches etc. etc.

Yes, it is true that you can backup your game CD so the game thinks it’s the original… that’s what this whole forum is about.

How to do it depends on the protection of the game. Use this to find out a protection for a game, and depending on what protection it is you use certain programs.
