tried using

  • BASF cd-r 80 1 x - 12 x 700mb / 80 min
  • Kodak cd-r 80 1 x - 12 x 700mb / 80 min

Also tried writing at

12 x
8 x

I have no problem saving data to disks, only have trouble with audio.

Try nero its much better then easy cd creator and music match box.
I hope it solve your problems.

I just downloaded Nero and burned another CD, but got exactly the same result.

Anything else I can try?

:frowning:

Try unhooking the audiocable between your soundcard and DVD or CDRW. In the past it gave me the same probs you got.

Have un-hooked cable and tried burning with nero again, but unfortunatly got the same result again.

Seems like a hardware problem but what else can I try?

Are you copying in an audio cd, or buring one from a mp3 files? Because i often find that when i listen to mp3s etc on my computer they seem fine, but when i listen to a CD burnt from them on good quality HiFi equipment there is quite often a lot of backgrond noise on them.

I have had the same problem in the past. Try burning at a slower speed, and use better quality media, see what happens!!!

Thanks for the help guys.

I’ve found the problem.

The CD Burner was faulty, I’ve had it replaced (under warranty) and now everything is working fine.
