are you aking how to backup an audio file…use Audio profile

im saying vcd’s must be copied in the same manner as an audio cd. data WILL NOT WORK, because VCD’s require the 2352 bytes per sector, instead of 2048.

Is that about Mode1/Mode2?
Also why do audio cds uses 2352 bytes per sectors?
Can you please explain?
Thanks a lot

Funny I back up all my dvd’s to SVCD to keep the kids from messing with them, and when I back up the back ups I always use DATA profile and I have never had a problem. So I guess that kinda means that the data profile will work huh.

Maybe SVCD is data, and VCD is not…
I’m not very sure, maybe you can try that out

smacks

sorry, i had nero open. got one idea messed with another. anyways, for a vcd, any of the clone profiles should work.

smacks again

audio uses 2352 because there are 304 reserved for error correction in each sector. instead of error correction, the audio streams right through it. same with vcd’s/svcd’s.
