I have begun lately making screen savers, including FINALLY finishing one I had started years ago when I got into the wreck I mentioned in my first post. The one I started years ago features John Wayne talking about the U.S.A. I have discovered that certain avi files I have will not work in the screen savers without losing thier ability to function. Copy guard of a sort I gather. I have no intention of marketing any such screen savers as I do not need nor desire copyright infringement charges, these are just screen savers I am making for my and my childrens pleasure. (Like a screen saver that would play the movie Hocus Pocus.) I am stymied however. What can I do to remove the copy guard and make it work? These are files that play perfect in Windows Media Player but I put even a very small one I have (size 59.3 MB for one) in a screen saver and forget it. Now I know that we could just settle for using them as avi files in windows media player but I enjoy making the screen savers and my kids get a kick out of it too, when it works. IS this in fact copy gaurd and weather or not, how can I fix this problem?
Well I just spent 10 minutes trying to figure how to edit this posting (my last one. 30 minute time frame for editing, huh ? strange. O.K. well anyway if it my be of help to anyone trying to determine a good answer to my problem you should know that the main screensaver maker program I am using is 2Flyer Screensaver Builder Pro. http://www.2flyer.com/ I have also made some use of RADVideo tools http://www.radgametools.com/default.htm and Any Video Converter http://www.any-video-converter.com/products/for_video_free/
