I have a avi file 733 mb and now I want to convert it to vcd with nero, but how long will this take.???

My experience in doing this with Nero is not good. Expect over 12 hours and the quality won’t be great. Much better to use tmpgenc. Then you can expect around 3 hours and much higher quality. A full tutorial is available on cdfreaks at :
with your specs, i’d expect closer to 2 and a half hours…and the tutorial is exactly what you need. the quality wont be affected by either choice
