Avi to iso problems

I have recently ( yeah I know) learnt about avi and iso files. I have loads of avi files and am trying to convert them to iso files, but it just is not happening. As a avi file I am able to see it move is rename it ext. But all of the ones that I have tried to convert have problems.

Now being very new at this I have no idea what to do. Can anyone please give me some sugestions?

Thanks in advance!

An ISO file is just a container that can contain any type of files you want in it. Are you trying to convert AVI files to DVD compliant files?

What software are you using to convert from AVI to ISO?

RM

Hi thanks for the reply.

Yes I am trying to convert it to copy on DVD as am running out of space. Programs are avi2dvd and DVD Decrypter. Once it did it or so i thought when I wanted to check that is was done properly seamed like only half of the avi was converted, and the next had a error ----- “Job NOT Done. There are warnings … Find at
the log file the 0 byte generated file to focus where exactly
the problem appears” ------

For the life of me I have no clue as I have only now learnt to do this and my computing knowledge is on the very low side.
PS: DOn’t even know where to go find the log, at least I know what a log is.

Thanks

To convert to DVD try DVD Flick or AVStoDVD.

Thanks I will give that a go and see what happens.
