I´m trying to burn a 42 minutes audiofile to CD, but Nero claims that the file is 85 minutes. How can the file suddenly be longer in Nero than it really is???
Try Burrrn (www.burrrn.net) instead.
Do you have any specifics on the file, like file type (.mp3, .wav, etc), bitrate, etc?
It´s an ordinary 50 mb mp3-file, 42 minutes long.
Since I don't know that much about encoding and the different formats, I will refer to the post below. Maybe it will make some sense. I will say I had tried to burn some audio cds in iTunes and it said they would not fit, but Nero did it fine. Who knows--It might depend quite a bit on what the original file is and what it is being converted to.
