Audio problem

accidentally deleted/uninstalled a sound driver from pc.
I think it was installed with the motherboard driver. It was a surround sound program with sound effects. is it possible to replace? don’t have the motherboard driver. older computer:

MOBILE AMD ANTHLON ™ XP-M
PROCESSOR 2800+
ACPI UNIPROCESSOR PC

don’t know if this info helps…

You have to go to your motherboard manufacture and look for the driver/software on there. Since you didn’t give any motherboard specification we can’t help you here…

You might be able to get Windows to find you one by going to the ‘Device Manager’ and choosing ‘Update Driver’ for the sound device.

“Mobile Athlon” sounds like a laptop.
Check the Laptop manufacturer’s support website and get the drivers from there.
