The DVD+Audio from Eximus is totally different, as it can use advanced interpolation algorithms to upsample the material from 16 bit/44.1KHz to 20 or 24 bit, and 96KHz. Off course to pack a lot of CD's on one DVD, you can keep the bit and sample rate the same. It can format the material in PCM or MPG2. I just bought this product over the weekend, and burned my first DVd in the highest quality 24bit/96KHz, I was able to fit three albums, not much, but keep in mind that this test was for upsample quality and not quantity. It sounded VERY good! This product can pretty much make SACD/DVD Audio material out of your regular CD collection. Next I am going to make a DVD for my car DVD player, this time for quanity, with that in mind I can pack anywhere from 10 to 40 albums on one disc. Yes the interface is a bit to be desired for, as first you have to use another program to make WAV files, then Eximus program to select and make the compilation. Also after the encoding, you need a another program, like Nero to burn the DVD. Maybe one day, they will have all these steps built into the program.
