Audio CD Disabled

I was wondering if you can make an audio disc completely unreadable on PC and MAC system drives, but allow it to play in regular or car CD players. Such as both MAC and PC would think that the CD is corrupt and refuse to even read it, but normal stand alone players, play it fine.

I’ve heard before that this works, but major companies don’t do it because a lot of people listen to CD’s on their computer, so that option must be open.

If it can be done, how does this process work??

Such a CD isn’t an audio CD anymore, since it violates the standards defined for CD audio (CDDA). A disc like that is defective by design.

Maybe some software on the web somewhere?
