i was wondering is there a cdr that has no atip info. on it? i know its used to identify the media but if you can find one that would burn at a slow speed with know atip info on it, it could get around the atip check. i am asking because i know that some early cdr-recorders could not read the atip info.
No CD-R media comes without ATIP. Without ATIP, the burner doesn’t know it’s a writable disc.
The only discs without ATIP are pressed CD’s.
i know but some 2x recorders (early recorders) did not read the atip from a cd i guess cause everything was at that time only 2x. but if i have to write at 2x to get a perfect copy then that is not so bad. http://www.mav-magazine.com/Aug2000/mavicadisc.htm
