I understand why the reporting of ATIP info by a CD writer means that the system will recognize that you must be using a CD-R or CD-RW, since CDROM does not read ATIP.
However, how is it that the original disc will play in a CD-R or CD-RW drive?
With a copy, the CDR/CDRW drive will report the ATIP info, and the game will assume it is a copy, and say "Insert CD".
With the original Game the CDR/CDRW will also read the ATIP info - but it does not ask for the CD !! Why does the game not assume that it is a copy, since your CD writer reports the ATIP info?
