To me this is a major upgrade, and MB, Processor, and Memory is a new computer. So I would put it on my Workbench and go all the way with a new Case, Power, HDD’s, Graphics Card, and Blu-ray Burner. My Workbench has has Monitor and Internet Access. Then you can take your time and load everything properly. Do you plan to reuse some things, and what kind of down time do you give yourself?

While those are all good pics and you should be fine with them, I think you would be over doing it on the MB.

For the MB: ASRock Z68 EXTREME4 GEN3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard Latest generation x16 slots.

for the RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 Less money, a bit faster, and a quality brand.

The money you save on the MB can be put towards a fast SSD:
Patriot Pyro PP60GS25SSDR 2.5" 60GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive
or
Corsair Force Series 3 CSSD-F90GB3-BK 2.5" 90GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive

You took the words right out of my mouth Eric, that mobo is an ROG ( Republic of Gamers) it offers nothing more but a fancy name a few not important extras. The New Asrock Extreme 4 Z68 is awesome, I have the first Gen that doesnt support PCI-E 3.0 but the new Asrock Extreme 4 does, that amkes it a great gaming board. ROG is nothing but a show off feature JMHO.

Why would you take a chance on Ebay if you have to get that motherboard, Newegg has it for the same price.
