Asus DRW-2014L1T + Invalid block address

Hello forum! I love your site, it has helped me many, many times. I have searched high and low to find an answer to my problem and unfortunately, I have found nothing. So I decided to post my problem and ask the geniuses to help me. I have just purchased an Asus DRW-2014L1T SATA drive. Installation was a breeze and the machine identified and installed the driver right away. I went to burn a disc, which was to be a backup of my mp3’s. I was about 3% into it when I recieved an error message “Invalid block address.” Well, I tried 4 more times and now I have a nice collection of coasters for poker night. I noticed in the log file that DMA was off but according to a few post I have read that there is no DMA setting for SATA(http://club.cdfreaks.com/f48/dma-sata-question-157590/). Please help!

Drive: Asus DRW-2014L1T
Firmware: 1.00 (the latest according to Asus)
Burning Software: Nero 6.6.1.15
Media: TDK 4x DVD-R, Sony 16x DVD +/- R
Cable: tried 3 different cables, one being brand new.

Looks to me like a controller problem.
Try updating the drivers.
