I have the above drive which from the manual appears to burn dvd-rw at 1x or 2x.
I have some 4x dvd-rw.
Does anyone know if there is a firmware upgrade to allow me to use the 4x disks?
I’ve tried a download from asus but it wont unzip due to an ‘error’

You should not try to use that 4x DVD-RW media unless ITS REALLY CERTIFIED for 2x.
