I hope someone can locate the the original bin for this ASUS drive. I have searched everywhere and I could not locate the the original bin v 1.00. ASUS support sucks.

Regards,

#247

Why do you need 1.00?

You can find 1.01 from Albert’s link here.

#248

Thanks KTL

Greetings,
My drive after cross flashing no longer can read any discs. I re-flashed it back to Auss 1.01.00 and still. No joy. Did I brick the drive :frowning:

What date of the production Asus BW-16D1HT ?
Perhaps you already have a NS50 hardware? Therefore was firmware of version fw.1.00?

#251

The drive manufacture date: 08 15 2015
I was very careless when I crosse-flashed the drive so I do not remember.
Thanks:o

He looks like it that the newest NS50 hardware… You installed not correct firmware… it is hard from a distance to say whether something wasn’t damaged in the drive…
And you have a copy firmware 1.00?
Does DosFlashV2.0 recognize the drive and the type of the MediaTek chipset?
You can take accurate photos of the label of the drive Asus and to put for us here

#254

I hope the label photo readable. And I am ashamed that I do not have DOS Flash 2.0, could not locate it!
I tried Devilsclaw Flasher but it fails with 00000.x error worse yet I do not have firmware 1.00
Thanks

#255

Based on the etiquette I am not able to state whether it is a NS40 cz NS50 hardware…
They are the same like in the model from 2013r… I have which…
So that I can on the 100% recognize the hardware I must see the inside of the drive…

hardware NS40

Thanks czary2mary1. I will open the drive tomorrow and see what I have. Cheers.

#257

Here is my drive hardware.

#258

Hardware correct 100% for LG NS 40.
What exactly and how it downloaded the first firmware you have installed?. How did you do it and what program?

#259

I used the unlocked BH14NS40_N1.00-A4(ew) firmware from ASUS original firmware.
And then I also flashed it with BH16NS40_1.03-A0_28ew%29 afterword.
Last I re-flashed back to flash_ASUS_BW-16D1HT_1.01 using the unlocked BH14NS40_N1.00-A4(ew).

He looks that you did everything correctly… it’s difficult to tell in what problem… of causes a million can be… ordinary driver sata whether controller sata…
I think that only DosFlashV2.0 can see the drive…
But best as if you had firmware to fw.1.00 Asus. Perhaps somebody has?
I don’t know what you had for unknown for me firmware 1.00 in your Asus?
Perhaps the company changed something in these models in the software?
Only an attempt already remains from DosFlash whether is able correctly to identify the propulsion…
