[QUOTE=Fjellreven;2741470]Thanks for your help ProLogic!!
Because they are RE! With -R I have to throw it away if the result is not what I want.
When satisfied I will ONLY burn on BD-R HTL 25 GB, preferably Panasonic or Sony.
I have lots of DVD rock conserts and want to make my own “best of”.
I have read this article: http://www.cdrinfo.com/Sections/News/Details.aspx?NewsId=34515
I would avoid Sony because i heard there’s also Ritek in there under sony name, if you use rewritable disc and you finished i should use one of these 2 media for excellent quality and archive use, the JVC got also Panasonic MID code and is good for more then 30 years storage and the Panasonic Archival Grade 25GB BD-R is more expensive but is good for more then 50 Years.
Both are very good and reliable Blu Ray Media.
In my opinion you better use one of these if you created your final result and burn it on one of those 2 blu ray media, both are perfect for long term archiving, maybe the JVC even better with Taiyo Yuden behind the wheels.
Panasonic Premium Archival Grade BD-R :
JVC/Taiyo Yuden BD-R for Digital Archive :
The JVC is sold out right now but im sure if you send him a private message you can order more from him.
