I was at circuit city today (last day), and they had a whole endcap of 1TB simpletech hard drives for 120$. I asked if they were going to go lower before they close if they don't sell, and they said they could give me one for 80$. I passed as it didn't seem like that hot of a deal. I don't need an external and a 1TB internal is close to the same price.
I was kind of thinking though, I hate externals because I have had mishaps a few times (knocked off the desk and instantly killed loosing all my data etc). Are drives like this designed to be more shock proof, or are they just internals in a case like most? I don't know the model but it looks like one of the small ones.
