Are my LTH discs doomed?

I only just recently managed to source HTL discs from overseas, they weren’t available in my country. I’ve burnt quite a few LTH data discs, probably up into the hundreds (verbatim), anyway I did an imgburn graph of my new HTL’s (also verbatim) - I noticed that the verify speed was way different:

I always thought the read speed was a bit slow with my LTH discs but even my oldest ones seem to read back without errors. Is this a huge issue? I assume that the burn quality with LTH is low, so the drive has to work harder to read the data?

According to the drive specs it reads LTH BD-Rs @ 6x only, so it seems to be normal for this drive.
You should update the firmware though.

What advantage would that have? Faster write speed or something?

Usually improved write strategies, thus better write quality with certain media.
