Are Creation 24x CDRs good for LiteON?

Hi,

I just got 50 Creation 1x-24x 700MB/80Min CdRs;
Are they any good for LiteON 40x12x48x and 48x12x48x??

They are rated as 1x-24x, use the New Phtalocyanine dye
and are manufactured in the EU by “Intersonic SA”…

Has anybody ever used these???

Anyone ever hear of these companies:

“Intersonic SA” and “Creation Optical International Ltd.”

Thanks in advanced,

All the Best,

Bosco

Download and install CDR Identifier V1.63 and then post the ATIP here.

Hi Again and Thank you for your fast answer!

CDR Identifier V1.63 ATIP:

ATIP: 97m 27s 19f
Disc Manufacturer: Plasmon Data Systems, Ltd.
Recording Layer: Dye (Short Startegy e.g. Phthalocyanine)
Media Type: CD-Recordable
Nomonal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f/LBA 359849)
Recording Speed: Min Unknoun - Max. Unknoun

Apparently the Creation CDRs are manufactured by
“Plasmon Data Systems Ltd” and
Not by “Intersonic SA”???

Are they any good for my two LiteONs Drives
(40x12x48x and 48x12x48x)??

All the Best

Bosco

I wish I could answer your question, but I’ve no personal experience with those.
Nevertheless, IMHO if you just burn them max @24 there shouldn’t be any reasons for errors to take place.

I’m sure there will be more responses to come.

Regards

A friend of mine had burnt (@4x) some Creation cd-rs a couple of years ago. they were manufactured by plasmon.

At today’s date, those cd-rs are unreadable.

Need i say anything else ???

Thanks for all your Reply!

So, Creation CDRs manufactured by plasmo are NOT BAD
and also become unreadables after 1-2 years?

Anyone on the forum had any aditional info?

Regards,

Bosco

Escuse me…But I made amistake in my last post…

What I mean is that:

“Creation CDRs manufactured by Plasmon are VERY BAD
and are NOT recomended, because they become
unreadables after 1-2 years”

Anyone on the forum had any aditional info?

Bosco

If you do a search for “plasmon” you’ll find plenty of opinions.

Intersonic SA (Creation) and Arcadia Media SA (Sanyodigital) , are factories in Greece using Plasmon material and making CDRS export them in Middle East ,and Central and east Europe.
My Liteon with firm VS08 burn these 16x and 24x CDRs in 48x no errors at all -Smartburn suggest 48x writing. -Take care about scratching these CDRs .Maybe not resist well .Finally cost very much .You can always find spingles Ritek made discs 16-32x ,burning at 40-48x ,cheaper in price but better in perfomance…
