According to the main label, I have a Samsung SHW-162. In the barcode area it specifies ver Z thus I must have a 162Z with FW TS01. When checking for FW updates, I found quite a few 162 variants - 162C, 162L, etc and the corresponding FWs vary widely. Any known reason for this proliferation of suffixes? Are these all the same basic unit, if so, why so many different FWs? Are they cross-flashable? Thanks for helping sort out the confusion.
there are so many different firmwares, as they are different drives with different features. Partly even with different chipsets.
I haven’t read of crossflashing attempts, so I don’t think, such is possible.
