Hey, if it can play MP3, MPEG-4, and x264 then I’m in like Flynn. If not, I’m off like a prom dress.

We all knew this would happen… attack of the clones of the Ipad… and there’s lots of room for improvement over the Apple “feature set” which is the Elephant in the room based on Apple’s pricetag for their device… clearlly the device MUST tout much more capabilties such as minimal multi-tasking, HD video, 802.11N wifi capability, usb and/or card slot, hard drive/device mountable, etc. I still don’t see why a variation these pads can’t be powered by Intel’s atom chips, then features won’t be an issue because those processors @ 1.6-2.4ghz seem to be very capable for hd video in a single task mode. I’m also thinking 16gb is a bare minimum for internal space… 32gb is preferable… 8gb is horribly small (2010) given that hd video is an important feature… not text.
BTW, if it doesn’t have multi-codec support (xvid/divx/264/etc) than it’s a non-starter regarless of price
