I'm trying to work out how to archive/back up copies or dvdrs that I've menued. For the last couple of years I have been compiling music dvds from footage I have on my computer, adding menues with pictures with Nero 7
then dvd decrypting the finished unit to an external hardrive with dvd decrypter.
This was on an old computer, a Compaq Presario 900 laptop which died a couple of months back. with that the finished unit kept the dimensions it had on the disc.
I've since tried doing the same with my newly aquired desktop and keep finding that dvd decrypter is actually doubling the size of the folder so it wouldn't fit back on a dvdr.
imgburn appears to strip the menu. certainly did the first couple of times I tried it.
so I'm wondering if there are any other ways of duplicating compiled dvds that would actually retain the menu created while keeping the folder at the same size
