“A Senate committee has proposed an amendment saying copyright protection does not have to be lowered if the music seller has a different arrangement with copyright holders” ho ho ho!! and people bellyache that U.S. politicians are for sale. Looks like there’s a sale going on all over the world!! France talks a good game, but by and large they weasel and waffle just like every other country. Remember how they were going to prohibit dvd copy protection? By the time the laws are passed, they are the same anti-consumer garbage as seen all over the world. Save your snoot for when you actually pass a consumer FRIENDLY law!
