The 8x DVD+RW write speed I don’t care , but the 8 MB buffer size I don’t like.

I heard it’s their own, not OEM from other company.

Well so they say but I have a feeling that the R in “ARR” stands for Ricoh just like the N in DRW8800/AAN stands for NEC and the P in DRW8800/APP stands for Pioneer. But we’ll see when Ricoh’s burner shows up :wink:
