[QUOTE=bamahusker;2265977]are you reading my post correctly? it means normally “20 minutes with Fab,a few seconds analyzing with Shrink, about 15-20 minutes creating the iso with shrink, and about 10 minutes burning with decrypter” this is what it normally does. last night with Hotel For Dogs: “20 minutes decrypting,a few seconds analyzing with shrink, about 50 minutes creating iso with shrink, and 10 minutes burning with decrypter” this is why DVD Fab is not an issue because above,20 minutes usually and 20 minutes still= no issue. I have decrypted dvd’s where it’ll decrypt fine but when i run it with shrink, unless there’s an updated version of Fab,it’ll act screwy abd become draggy or stop etc. That’s why i labeled this “software problem”. i should have just posted this under the 22.214.171.124 thread. Anyway i just thought i’d ask and see if anyone has had issues yet with this title.
OK… This makes more sense…Instead of using DVDShrink to first analyze, then create an ISO, why don’t you try Imgburn to create the ISO right from the rip by Fab?
Should go somewhat faster…and since DVDShrink hasn’t been updated in over 2 years, there may be structural issues from the Fab rip it’s having a problem overcoming, which could be why the ISO is taking so long.
For that matter, why are you using DVDShrink to do an analysis in the first place? You should be able to create an ISO right from DVDFab, unless you’re using the HD Decrypter version of the program…
P.S. You say you’ve labelled this as a software problem, yet indicate there seems to be no problem with DVDFab…I’ll assume you mean DVDShrink has the problem…and this is the DVDFab forum, not the DVDShrink one… on a program as outdated as Shrink, who’s to say what the problem really is or whether there’s a solution for that problem, except to drop Shrink and use something else for your particular application.
