I tried unsuccessfully to rip two different copies of the Warner DVD "Private Lives of Elizabeth and Essex". Surprising as this is a classic film and Warners does not tend to have draconian encryption. None of my software can read the disc. It appears somwhat clouded within the dvd layers. Could there be a problem in manufacturing? Or a new encoding? The original DVDs play just fine on both my Sony and Go-Video players. any ideas?
