This is the first version where I didnt have to reboot, even though it said I may have to. Can anyone confirm this.

I didn’t have to reboot either,but haven’t done that for a long time when updating AnyDvd HD…:wink:

There are some filter drivers in the optical stack that make a reboot necessary on occasion

Installed over 8.0.3.0 and didn’t restart but I restarted anyways.

Never ever had to restart.
Including on fresh install.
Just click on RedFox - Exit program - Restart program.
Much quicker.

If the program says “You may have to restart”: sometimes you and sometime you do not. Its a driver thing.
