I have used AnyDVD about half a year now combined with CloneDVD. It has always been working for me, but now after formatting my disk and reinstall windows XP I have a small problem.

When AnyDVD is starting up with Windows, it takes all my CPU-usage…anybody knows what causes it? I have the latest update, and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall it, I’ve even tried the second latest update…but it’s all the same.

Anybody who can help me with this problem???

It maybe that you got automatic update on that checks their site for a new update as soon as you boot your comp. If u don’t have broadband and aren’t connected all the time then disable this feature.

That’s the only thing i can think of that’s new in the last couple of releases.

I have ADSL 2,2Mbit connection, but thanks anyway, I’ll try that as soon as I get myself home from work.

Thanks for the advice!

no probs, if not post in the anydvd forum and the author should be able to solve your problem better.
