Please be so kind to try this version. Let me know, if it works:
22.214.171.124, 2005 06 23
- New: Added support for a new version of the “Sony ARccOS
protection” as found on “Hitch” R1 (US) to the
option to remove “Protection based on unreadable Sectors”
- Fix: Problem introduced in 126.96.36.199 - not all unreadable
areas of ARccOS protected discs were replaced with dummy
- Some minor fixes and improvements
(For some reason, the link reverted back to 5261)
I am very sorry, but our IT staff changed the server setup. At the moment, the update server redirects all requests to the release version 5261.
I will provide you with a new link as soon as possible.
That explains things…
this ain’t a hoax is it?
No, just great support.
No Hoax, but it STILL cannot decryptthe movie, “Taking Lives.” Gets all of the way to the end of the movie and says, “Syntac Error.” Clean the disk, etc…Clone and ANY seem to be extremley sentative to Any disk that has Any problems. Even minor scratches and such…
Still? Never heard about “Taking Lives” before. Please tell us more… (e.g., release date, region, country, ifos, anydvd information, blablabla…)
I was able copy Taking Lives a long time ago, when I used to use DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter
“Taking Lives.” Warner Brothers (2004). Not rated-109 mins,US, Region 1, ANYDVD 188.8.131.52 and Clone’s latest version as well. I even tried latest ANYDVD and DVD SHRINK… Could not back it up. Waits until the very end and says, “encryption error, take it out and clean it.” No matter how new/or clean the disk is.
Have you tried decrypting with DVDDecrypter+AnyDVD?
No, I thought that AnyDVD and Decrypter were nased on the same concept> Am I wrong?
Concerning DVD Decrypter+AnyDVD suggest viewing the below Forum posting. Referenced posting comments #5 and #8 might prove to be useful.
@ bjkg - sorry nothing to do with the above forum - congrats on the Senior Member - 250 post mark!!!
I guess I’ll pop a cool one and bask in all the glory.
The new 184.108.40.206 does it all. I happen to own the movie “Taking Lives” and had no problems with AnyDVD but it was an older version. I think it was 220.127.116.11. I havent backed it up with the latest version but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. When that movie came out last year I didn’t hear anybody having a problem. Maybe you have a bad source disk.
quick question…when will the official slysoft page be updated with the newest versions of the products offered??? i guess the server is still be worked on by the it staff?..thanks…great product…downloaded the newest version from this thread…great support too…
Probably when they get done beta testing it. I think they are the best at what they do and I wish I would have bought the Clone Program combo with AnyDVD. I was foolish and didn’t take advantage of their offer. If AnyDVD is this good I can only imagine how good CloveDVD is.
