Just got anydvd and am backing up my dvds with DVD Decrpypter. Is there any difference or benefits between ripping in ‘ISO’ mode or ‘File’ Mode? Does it affect the burning process in DVD Decrpypter in any way? Thanks.
Yes it does, as DVDDecrypter cant burn files, only ISO’s.
Ripping into ISO is better as you keep the DVD structure. If you rip to File mode you need a burning app that can create a DVD structure from the files. As in Nero 6 and above can. However it is not 100% perfect.
I would rip to ISO when ever i could if it were me.
Ok, thanks for the info!
