AnyDVD and 1Click on windows x64?

Hi to all!

At the risk of getting dinged for a double post, I will 'fess up I have asked this in the 1Click forum as well. However, my initial efforts at cleaning out DVD43 and reinstalling both AnyDVD and 1Click have not born fruit :frowning:

1Click (Pro) gives me the “Error 1, Disk is Encrypted…” message. I have tried a couple of old DVD’s with different copy protection (Bourne Identity, Matrix) I had laying around, using all combination of source/destination drives, to hard disk, etc. I am using 2 Sony 16x burners and REALLY like the 1Click approach. Works like a charm in x32 for direct write from source to destination.

Anyway, just a general quey if anyone using a similar combo is able to make theirs work:

WinXP x64, AMD x2 3800 2GB Dual Channel
AnyDVD 5.9.5.8
1ClickPro
2 Sony DW-G120A DVD Drives

It doesn’t appear to be a AnyDVD issue, but wanted to wave my flag in case someone else has been through this.

TIA

Calcu,

Thanks, but I appear to have the latest 2.2.1.8. Here is a cut/paste of the dumped “Crash Log”. I have checked on the MS website for any updates; I am totally up to date as far as SP, etc. This is a bummer:

4/25/2006 8:56:12 PM error Error 1: This DVD is encrypted. 1Click DVD Copy can not copy encrypted DVD movies.
If you are using a decrypter, you may need to restart it before running 1Click DVD Copy.

ANYDVD is not compatible with 64 bit windows, only with 32. I could be wrong.

Secondly, I see you are using Windows xp 64 bit. My suggestion is to remove it completely and Install xp 32 bit. (To be On A Safe Side)

It is very likely that ANYDVD driver is not working with it because of Compatible issues. Also make sure don’t have any program which may be talking to DVD writer continuously, as this may lead to problem.

Such as INCD, and drag to disc. They are rubbish in my opinon and can casue lot of problem with programs.

You are wrong anydvd is compatible with 64bit systems. Make sure of this :

Such as INCD, and drag to disc(Roxio). They are rubbish in my opinon and can casue lot of problem with programs

If these things are on your PC remove them…

Make sure that “Safe Mode” is disabled in AnyDVD program settings.

Are you running Vista?

Good job I overlooked that one. It has to be a pirated version for there was no beta release of this “Longhorn” Vista to my knowlege was the only beta release.

There is alot of issues with the new beta OS on using other software with it. I seen this as I’m an active forum jumper and seen the reviews of these issues. Antivirus of anysort is an issue using Vista as well.
