Any reason not to use bitsetting with DH20A3p

I understand it’s used with DVD+R’s, for compatibility.
Does it degrade the disc quality?

Bitsetting has no effect on burning quality: it simply change the way a player see the disc

You can’t continue multisession if a disc is booktyped to DVD-ROM.
I had a problem with this so I do not allow the software to set ROM type but leave discs as they are.

If that’s true, then it’s a special limitation of this drive model (or your software).

We use multi-session burning on DVD+R media with DVD-ROM booktype regularly with no problems on other drives.

Thanks all.
Great info.

Not true i do multisession all day booktyped to DVD-ROM.
